What is architecture?

Architecture is the art of design and construction that organizes the necessary spaces together with aesthetic, functional, technological, and managerial conditions so that people can continue their actions regarding life.

Architecture can be defined as the act of 'organizing the void' in its most comprehensive and general sense. The arrangement of the space is carried out in a wide range from the smallest detail to the largest and most complex scale. Architecture has emerged with the existence of man in nature and has become one of the most basic occupations of mankind throughout history.

The main task of the architect is to evaluate the life styles and cultural resources in different natural environments, to meet the functionality of the spaces, to fulfil the aesthetic and robustness conditions of the buildings, together with the questioning on the basis of human actions.
